I has been working in Shalom for almost two months full.....I'm very glad and thankful as God has placed me there.Like what auntie Sze said,it is a way to serve God.Though the pay not high,I don't really mind at all.Instead,I enjoy everyday staying there,hanging out with the kids,tutoring them.Though sometimes my work overloaded,until I have to shout,"Wait!I only have a pair of hands!"...Though sometimes I got heart attack tutoring my two boys,who DO NOT listen at all......Though sometimes I have to stay up till quite late,but I just enjoy it....
Most importantly,I have the chance to learn more about God and His word for me everyday.It's undescribable.Without His strength,HIs wisdom and His patience given unto me,I wouldn't be that "stretchable".....Yeah,I enjoy relying on HIm everyday,when I really flare up with the kids,I would just pray,"Oh Lord,help me to teach them OR punish them if you want me to do so!Give me the authority!"(evil smile:p)
Thanks to Aunty Sze for giving me this oppurtunity....Thanks to Aunty Geik Peng,Aunty Oi Lin.Aunty Suet Ling,Uncle Mark,Joel,Bryan,Pastor for taking such a good care of me.I will treasure this kindness and this most beautiful memory in my heart forever.Last but not least,without Engina,I think i will feel lonely....Thanks Engina,For being such a caring sister to me.....Till now,I don't dare to imagine what might happen to me when You leave......I LOVE Everyone of You!!!!!:p
I just want to glorify His name....doing His work,bring Jia Wey and Jing Hong to know the Lord...I just want to sow the seed,it's God who makes the plant grow....

El Sanctuary Retreat!!!

What a relieve!Finally coming back from Shalom retreat……yeah.I had a great time spending time with the kids….Though it’s 2nd time going to El Sanctuary in 2 weeks time..but it’s still refreshing to me and most importantly,I manage to taste the fantastic food there!haha:P

There was a swop in my duty…from a participant to a part of organizer…quite stress….I was afraid that they didn’t like the game I prepared…Boring….Haiyo…Anyway,just do it!I just did it lo!Till the end,I made a mistake …..my careless mistake caused the teachers to be forced to skip a few games..:(

IN my spiritual area,I was once again amazed by God who spoke to me through Ps Lydia…wow…. I don’t know what can I say except “wow!”I could feel the Lord’s presence in the camp….and the importance of God’s word…I shouldn’t keep circling on the surface of the Word…but it’s time to deepen the root…..

The girls in my dorm….wow!they are just GIRLS!They fight,but laugh together the next second….scolding each other for using the bathroom so long…….blaming one another for not cleaning up th messy place,fight over one plastic bag…..but till the end,they can get along,tolerate with each other….i’m very impressed by their oneness…..
The bigger ones….the younger ones….all like a family…….I’m glad that I am part of this family…:p

Itchy!

ahh!!!getting crazy....i'm so itchy!all over my body,especially my legs!that bed bug bite me all over the places....my leg looks scary...like skin disease lo...my mum actually said:"your leg very dirty ler!"Argh!not dirty but i just cant stop to scratch it o........very ugly wor..cant wear short currently.....sure leave scar oo.........

Last Saturday,I went to my student’s birthday party with my fellows teachers and students in shalom….well,what a big house indeed in Taman Tasik!I can say that his house’s porch is my hose’s area!hmm…….

Well,of course,we had a sumptuous meal…The host hire a ang moh chef from barneys and bunch of helpers to stay helping there.Aiyo,guess what,you want
Chinese cuisine-----.chicken rice ball
Western food------spaghetti,fish and chips,chicken soup
Malay food------satay.ketupat,bbq
Mexican cuisine--------na’cho(it’s a dish where the minced meat(Mexican sambal) and cheese are being put on the cracker)
Dessert--------cake,fruit….etc

Wow!i never had such a great meal!this is the first buffet I had I think.feel like in hotel!By the way,I had a great time there.playing with my bunch of so called”students”(hmm…I think they didn’t treat us like teacher anyway.)Bryan,our colleague became the center of the girls that night,instead the birthday boy,jing hong!haha:p

Who knows,power failure occurred to the end of the party….great chance for the boys to talk ghost story(I never know they can speak that well!) and girl’s screaming everyway.!i heard nothing!what for scaring myself?:p

We stayed till midnight……..yup, I really had a great time gathering,fellowship with my dear “students”! Thanks to JIng Hong and his parents ah!
